I am looking to haul a D-12 series one on a car hauler, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the width from outside to outside on the rear wheels and tires. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

If it's got spinout rims on it I believe they are adjustable from about 55 inches to 80 inches.

Unfortunately, that is a case where a person at the tractor, using a tape measure to check it with, will be the only one with a correct answer. Anyone else getting is right is a lucky guess. Can someone there measure it for you?

Jim is correct, you never know if any of what kind of changes have been mad to that D12, if it helps my trailer deck is 84 inches wide, I have the wheels set fairly wide on my CA , I can put it on there with a couple inches to spare on both sides,a CA and and D12 are just about the same for adjustment. I've never measured how wide the CA is where it's set I eyeballed it to where I'd feel comfortable running it on and off the trailer.

I believe 80 inches is the tread width, so outside of tire to outside of tire it could be a foot or more over that, depending on what size tires are on it.

If they are spun all the way out you are correct,if spinouts are on it he should be able to get it narrower, key word there is should,if someone has replaced the rims with something other than spinouts he maybe looking for a wider trailer, best way is like you said have someone measure it at it's widest point then measure the trailer

Ain't that the truth, mine wouldn't budge,I took them all off the wheels and soaked them in a bucket of marvel mystery oil for about a month and it was still a job getting them broken down
