This 7040 has always had poor lifting under load, like folding up wings on cultivator. Checked pressure today and was only at 1500 psi, soo took out high side spring to find its broken, agco has none in Australia and apparently none in the USA? So not sure on the next move.🤔

Salvage yards. I think that I have a few if you need one. Just pay the freight and it's yours.

Hi lynn, i appreciate the offer, thats very nice of you,i have rung the only salvage yard left in Australia that still has allis to wreck, hopefully he will get back to me with one tommorow. Seems agco is short on allis parts,my agco dealer ordered me an orbitrol seal kit for the steering and cab mounts a few months back, both of which were showing available ex usa ,and i would see them in 3 weeks.Asked what’s happened to them and he has no idea, says there is no order showing now and nil stock in the usa of either parts.😦

Thanks alvin, thats the part number he checked on,wonder whats up?He has been a parts guy for his whole life and knows most gleaner part numbers by name. He has been getting me parts for years, agco has parts in wharehouses here and if they dont he always gets it on an order from usa.
Can you tell me if orbitrol seal kits are still available? Cheers

Hey alvin, talked to the parts guy today,he said agco changed all the software setup at all dealers a few months back,in Australia. anyway,he said its been a nightmare and probably why he cant see whats in the usa for availability. Says allis tractors, heston and sunflower parts are not really showing anything for him since the change.
