 Topic: Lost my Granddaughter today

 My 10 year old granddaughter and her friend were both killed this afternoon when a 4 wheeler they were riding flipped over on them out in back pasture .
Unsure of how long they were pinned under it before their older sister or brother found then but they tried to revive them but they both died .
Grief doesn't seem to have hit as NUMB is the feeling right now .
I have some information on my F B page and latest on other things listed on St Peter Lutheran Church - Afton MN .
A friend of my sons set up a go fund me page also for her , it seems they lost their rental place and had to move in with me after the full Covid thing and unemployed, he also lost both of his dump trucks and business in the ordeal leading up to now
Funeral services at St Peter Lutheran church - Afton MN on Saturday 4/29 and burial in church cemetery - Next to my wifes grave

My son and his wife and the 3 grand children have been living here for the last 8 months and youngest granddaughter had a school friend out for the weekend , they were riding the 4 wheeler out back away from the house so didn't see or know it happened.
All the police and rescue and medical examiner now left as did the police Chaplin.
Tried to get ahold of the pastor at their church but voice mail - and same for my church next door . Friend of son is here yet and he knew the police Chaplin as he was minister at his church a few years back .
My youngest son was here during this time so for me it helped but NUMB is the only thing one can feel now - then I don't know if there is another feeling one can have when 2 young girls die in your back yard !

Such terrible news Coke. I think I can understand the feeling of numb. Next will come the feelings of guilt. Why didn't I. Remember, life is not in our control. We like to think we control it. In the end, God has Blessed every birth with a certain number of days. We don't understand, but we must give thanks for the Lords Blessings. I pray for you and the family.
