Wow, 37, those are awesome!! thanks!!

I never really thought about just how big the plant was, but dang, no wonder they named the city after the company! WOW!

What type of tractor/engine is that, the second to the last picture? Can anyone read what the sign says hanging from the ceiling?

That's one heck of a drop hammer. Can you imagine how hot it would be working that chunk of steel in the summer time.

Sorry about that, I just saw them in the past and saved them in my AC folder along with about 600 other AC/Gleaner pics. They make one hell of a screen saver. LOL

I don't know what tractor they are building. If I had to guess I would say a B, C, or CA. Now I do know that the sign hanging there says "Let's make every motor a better motor."

I wish I could see the second to the last picture. I can't get it to come up on Mozilla or GChrome.

Is it possible to get big images of these.  I worked at WAMO in the early 70's and remember a lot of this.  It was my 1st real industrial job and I'd love to put up some of these photos.

Thanks,
Bruce

the pic of the building in GBACBfan's post looks a lot like the machinery row building,  in Madison, WI.  is that true?

Hey Bruce. Glad you got the link!
Jeremy or Austin, can either one of you guys tell Bruce how to get some images out of the pics here that he can put up on the wall? I would like to figure out how to do the same with some pictures I have.
I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!
