I’m located in Indiana. Looking to swap out the narrow for a wide front. Any tips on how to modify or what to look for to make sure it will bolt up. I hear there’s a 3 or 4 bolt pattern and that’s all I have so far.

It would be much easier to buy a wide front tractor!  I have two, D14 and D17.  Both have power steering.  I live south of Flint MI.

A word of advice.
Loosen all the bolt s on the left frame ( as you are sitting on the seat) and spread the frame rails to remove the old narrow front. It's most likely been on there for more than 62 years. They don't come out very easily.

I have everything you need and it’s a 4 bolt hanger. I’m an hour away from Chicago, where about Indiana are you ? Thinking $450. No welds pretty good shape.

Be aware that the bolts in the bolster may twist off. If happens on removal no big deal if not reusing it. Check replacement for twisted off bolts before install. Get some new GR5's for install. The switch is rather easy if properly supported and loosening one rail up is good advice. They are a snug fit otherwise.

Thank you for the information. My intent is to check engine out (had oil in water - freeze plug on head blew out and it cracked ) I just got the engine removed yesterday and started pulling pistons to check sleeves as the middle two pistons had water in them.
