Little bit of RAIN on Thursday

    Was working on a job over in Mpls for sewer dept - City workers dug up manhole to replace sewer pipe in center of intersection in residential neighborhood . 
 IT RAINED about 6" that afternoon 
They had filter cloth in the storm drains along with those tube type water dams to keep dirt from washing into storm sewer . 
 Well all the water went into excavation - backed up into sewer pipeing as storm drains were blocked - 
 Seems about 30 houses in 2 block long stratch had about 18" to 24" of sewage back up into basements . 
 Today there were about 10 trucks and crews from cleaning companies working . still hauling things out of houses along that street , couple box trucks loaded with carpeting and paneling and furniture going to dump sites . 

 Sure glad i am just a dumb truck driver and nothing more on that job - city is going to have quite a bill - unless they claim its God's fault

	WHY is it, that once elected,,,,they LOSE ALL COMMON SENSE??? They don't think that the weather persons COULD be correct?? They HAVE,,,,,,on occasion. The BAD & SAD thing is that WHO is the city (that has to pay) for all those goof-ups? It isn't the mayor or the aldermen or the Heads of the various Departments,,,,,,,,but the lowly tax payers who were NOT at fault.... WHEN are WE, the people, going to make them accountable??? That time is OVER DUE!! The little guy gets hurt and expects help and usually doesn't get any. WHY do WE have to fight insurance companies for something that is (supposedly) covered? Sorry about the rant, but..........

	Might be a rant but it is the truth, sad how the work things and stick it to the small guy on the bottom

	Still cleanup crews working on houses today - 3 different outfits , in and out of houses with large extractors and scrubbing machines - least it looks like the drmolition haul outs slowed down .
