Been seeing an add for a hand held lazor rust removing tool.   Any of you guys got one?  Do they really work as good as the video on the add?   Looks to good to be true.

Dave

No this thing was $39   The add had scam all over it,  I googled it and found the real one for $65K   looks like someone made a video with the real one and photo shopped it to make it look like a small hand held unit.

Ray...it's aluminum infused into the steel. when the steel rusts away the aluminum just falls off. and it's on the box only.

One of the body shop men here tell me, when those things come in wrecked/totaled for a rebuild, they are replacing those boxes with steel boxes. Anybody else been told this or is it a local thing?

must be your local dealer, Woodhouse replaces the wrecked ones with new factory ones like they came with. a friend said he hauled some of them for Woodhouse on his flatbed and 4 guys could pick up a dually box (one on each corner) and carry it around and set it up on his flatbed. kinda makes me think them boxes ain't much better than tin foil if they are that lite!
