Looking at purchasing another mower and am wanting one with a 3 point. Seen them on JD 300 series and am wondering if anyone has built a 3 point on an Allis 700 or 900 garden tractor.

The price of a Simplicity Powermax in my area is crazy. The Allis 900 series is about the same price as a 300 series JD.

The JD 300 is a bit more robust than the AC900's and they also have aux hydraulics for powering the 3pt's independent lift. The JD's frame rail design is more like a Simplicity Sunstar/Deutz Ultima than the Simplicity Sovereign platform the AC is built on...that's why they support the 3pt.
I would shop for a Sunstar AGCO or Deutz equivalent machine, and add a 3pt, or, if you're willing to go newer, find a Legacy (AGCO) tractor, which also supports a 3pt. Both series of tractor have begun to drop in price, below the Powermax's, which lack equipment like power steering. The downside is, they are also much tougher to find an OEM 3point for, whereas it's almost hard to find a Powermax WITHOUT 3pt. What do you want to do with the machine? The 900's are fantastic, but they are not 3pt capable.

Most of the time I would use either a set of 3 point forks or a grader blade.
