today the local HS had their annual tractor day. That meant 100+ tractors were mostly driven to school (a few were trailered). This year alumni were invited, so I too drove a tractor to school. Pretty cool! the youngins were mostly 'professional' with their tractor driving, there was one or two hormone inducted displays of temporary stupidity, but over all it was a good day.

But, it got me to thinking, this is a very, magical for a better term, time in these young folks lives. A lot of steam will need to be vented, testosterone is flowing, and as a result across the country there will be a temporary (hopefully) uptick in serious injury and death in that age group on the highways for the next month or two.
First, keep your eyes open when driving, and second, for those accustomed or inclined to praying, pray for our youth.
I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Ps 27
