That is not an 80S mower.
here is a link to an 80S Manual, for a picture reference. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Allis-Chalmers-80-S-Side-Mounted-Mower-Operators-Manual-DCPA6-ver-/152229884737?hash=item23719bb341:g:EqsAAOSwFe5XzGQq Gary |

We had one like that. The two holes at the back of that mower would match to the holes in the drawbar of a C. I don't know if it could be made to fit a CA or not. I never paid any attention to what the model number was.

That is a #5 mower. It is distinguished by the curved mounts at the front and will have twin drive belts at the rear. It is an update of the B/C mower that became available for the CA tractors and with the proper mounting package was also for the B/C tractors. You need the proper drawbar to mount it on a CA along with the proper drive pulley.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

That's just like the one I have that Dad used on the CA. This CA is a pin hitch tractor with the big bail for the drawbar that connects to the lift arms.

Dad never had any special brackets. It sets right on the drawbar bail of the pin hitch . I tractors. I don't have pics of the mower on this puter, but it is the same as the one above.

The front brackets are not straight up, so it would be for a CA

As said above it is a Number 5 mower for the B, C, CA. The front brackets are positioned in the forward holes for the CA. In the rearmost holes for the B-C. You have the mower frame but would need the mounting kit for the mower. For the CA - again from memory only - you would use one of the rams positioned forward and a tube that fits on the end of the ram to the lift arrangement that you would need also. Closer examination of the unit shows that you may well have this lift arrangement. Also, you would need the pulley, belt, and drawbar mounting brackets.
The B-C would use a different ram attachment and a different lift lever to fit the smaller ram of the B-C. Perhaps someone has a manual for a number 5 mower and this information would be clearly pictured and explained. Let us know how it goes. Good Luck! Bill Long

The double groove drive pulley also gives it away that it is for a CA.

Eldon, The number 5 mower used the double groove pulley for both the CA and the B-C. However, when the number 5 mower came out there was hardly any need for the B-C hookup. Basically the number 5 was to fill a need for the CA.
Eldon, Hope this finds you well. From the East Coast to the West Coast Good Luck! Bill Long |

The triangle item is used on the pitman rod end that connects to the sickle bar blade. You would have a special wrench that was used to release the tension on the sickle blade ball hook up and a wide other end that would spread the pitman rod ends so the pitman rod could be removed.
You have your twin belt pulley and the mounting brackets for a Snap Coupler CA. The other items I am not certain what they do. I do not see the attaching bolts for the rear draw-bar. They came with a lot of heavy washers that could be added or removed to increase tension on the drive belt. Send us pictures when you get it hooked up. We sold a lot of the B-C mowers. And since the Number 3 rear mounted mower and the number 7 came out we used them on the CA. Good Luck! Bill Long Best I can do from memory. Good Luck! |

Steve, you don't slide the mower under the tractor. You pull up to the right side, then lock the RH brake and swing the tractor over the top of the mower. You have to pull the front tires past the rear of the mower first. Hope this is clear.
