From all the lockdown in the nation, is allis stuff still selling? Here in Michigan, we are in a "shelter in place" ban until April 30th. My guess is selling stuff has slowed down, or at least traveling to pick equipment up.

I'm selling "other color" stuff. Saving the Allis stuff for some of the local shows...if they happen?

Maybe not at auction so much. Parts— I have been working on everything I own in this down time. And— I haven’t been picky on prices as it’s a little harder to shop. When I called Sandy Lake the other day, took me several calls to get through. My guess everyone is doing the same thing as we are not into planting yet.

It is different with no live auctions but with internet there are still auctions. I was on two different ones this morning and thought everything was selling good. Ag is considered necessary industry so the buying, selling and hauling of farm equipment is allowed even with the lock downs. Tom

I think everyone is doing projects of some kind, but they need the stuff to do it.
Went into town today for the first time in almost 3 weeks as wanting to finish fencing upgrades around the house and pick up fuel for saws/mowers. Bank drive-up was packed, all lanes were around the corner. Home Depot was busy as a Saturday morning at 10:00 AM, "associate" I asked about being busy said they were running 150% of normal for a Friday pre-virus.

If this thing drags out and economy goes into a recession and if past history holds true there will be a back to the land type movement and people with land will be doing things like gardening and small scale livestock. There will be a demand for small scale simple machines to do the work.Repoed Junkbotas and Deeres with complicated electronics won't really fit their needs.

Gary, I agree, think people will be doing more gardens this year. I usually only do a small garden, I went out with the 3 bottom plows the other day and made a few more passes. Heather asked me what I was doing and I told her “this is our Victory garden” , she had no clue what that was but told all of her friends about it on social media—lol!

Auction prices are probably the best way to tell what stuff is selling for.
Spring auctions are getting started and should give us some idea. |

I watched a couple on line auctions and thought stuff went cheap. WCs and WDs in the $300 to $600 range. Running and tires up. I sold a few parts but folks want rims and tires cheap. $400 for a nice tire on a spin out rim is a no sale.
