Thought you all might find this interesting. I was flying from Kansas City to Toronto the other day. Looking out of the window, first thought I was seeing a strange strip of sunlight. As the plane got closer, realized it was a snowbelt that couldn't have been more then a 1/2 mile or so wide by looking at the fields it covered. Plane was heading north and east. Snowbelt was stripping to the east and south. Think it was around central/Northeastern Illinois.

Funny. As I realized what I was looking at starting chuckling since it looked like a straight blast out of some kind of cannon with precision aiming!

We live in a snowbelt 15 miles south of lake Erie. 120+ inches average snow fall per winter season.
