If you sat that on my desk, I'd be scratching my head, cause i wouldn't know what to do with it.

On the other hand, if it was plate steel, I could come up with a million things to make out of it.
I still gots my A/C but it's clear out in the barn now.

OK, here's the 'deal' ...
I can get all the free firewood and mulch I want. Have 2 arborists that need a 'dump' site when nearby...so, heck, well, free is free.....the only condition is they're cut into short logs, so less than 3' more or less. Apparently "YOU" can sell a 20" live edge board for $65 up here ! Some fancy 'french ' name ,used as a serving tray for cheezes, crackers, meats so I got the job to mill the short logs into boards. So far I've got about 40, each 1" thick and the 'end slabs' are about 2-3" thick. Founds some pine paneling boards(5/16" thk) and cut them into 16" long stickers. These will give an air gap to allow the boards to dry up.
I have a Norwood 2000 bandsaw mill. I actually made a 'post' 24 by 24 by 11' on it once. 23HP B&S Vanguard, have a siding/shingle making jig(never used yet) as well as the blade sharpening jig.Hasn't really paid for itself but it's fun to use !

X2 on the shingles!  I made a jig fer my woodmizer, when I was gutting logs, to cut shingles, fairly easy, just clamp to the bed, lay log on and alternate tipping, and not tipping, makes a whole pile of shingles, as fast as your help can tote'm away!  Might even be enough, to maybe shingle a garage roof?Wink poke, poke!Wink
