No power for about four hours, several tree limbs down but no other real damage I've heard.

I'm due west of Peoria about 22 miles.

Hit SpringfieldIllinois area hard . Haven't had power since 12:30 yesterday afternoon. Most of the town is without. Generator is powering everything except ac. Storm rolled through around noon . They wouldn't let linemen in bucket trucks until lightning stopped around 4 o'clock. High winds took a lot of trees down. I had a cherry tree that was clinging on to life . Didn't want to cut it down until it stopped producing leaves. It missed my brother's truck by 3 feet

You only need to know 3 things to be a plumber;Crap rolls down hill,Hot is on the left and Don't bite your fingernails

All good with me. Manlift did not break the welds holding the boom up and air traffic control at airport clocked 62mph winds at my place:

Shop neighbors said power never did go out but most of the center of Farmington was dark for the four hours or so. Much to my surprise no branches down this time. Most have been taken down in prior storms.

We are Blessed. Storm blew in at 60-70 mph front winds, then heavy rains quickly totaling 2.5". No hail. No tornado. No building or crop damage. Some broken light tree branches scattered here & there. Crops are enjoying the much needed precipitation.

You got lucky Pat!!  Just think if it had fallen the other way, ALL kinds of stuff in the pic that it COULD have fallen on.
What's with all the gas cans?  And ONE diesel can.....   Old Glory needs to be replaced now too.  Otherwise buddy, have a good un' and keep your stick on the ice...
