Norm Swinford said in his book a diesel 10 or 12 would have been a strong attraction to farmers and dealers. has anyone ever made one thought about it /  what would work for and engine ? Tractorman
Play on 38 B 49 WF , working on D14, D15 B10, Bee 12 B110. use 185 and 190

Don't quote me on this, but I believe the Tractors from over the pond, like the ED-40 were diesel, and pretty much everything else was the same as the D10-12-or 15.  Again this is from memory, not around my Swiford Bible right now.  Those tractors were imported to the US, and I see them every once in a while for sale.

The  D-272 would actually be closer to a D-10 / 12 than an ED-40.
 
D272 had CA 4 speed transmission and the R/H axle clutch.
 
Also had Snap Coupler AND 3 pt hitch together on the same tractor.
 
Available overseas with either 3 cylinder Diesel OR  125 cuin Gas.
 
Only Diesels shipped to North America.
 
When my father was a Dealer , on more than one occassion he wished they had kept them all over there.
