Hi there. I pulled the head off my block and and took a close look at my piston tops and the rear one is dished in whereas the other ain’t. Any ideas what can cause this? Or possibly it is an incorrect replacement?

Probably the same reason my Oliver 88 had 5 aluminum and 1 cast iron piston when I bought it! 😆

Yup. That’s what I’m thinkin. I reckon I’m just Gona keep runnin with the bottom end as is for now.
Some years later I’ll get her some new pistons, rods ,full rotating assem!

LOL. I did a 460 gas IH for a guy once, he swore up and down it was original and has never been apart. When I popped the pistons out, all 6 were knurled. Thats an old time repair you dont see anymore.......

Knurled. Now there’s a word I’ve heard. Just wasn’t sure the meanin in reference to piston work until now !
I was just makin sure I wasn’t missing nothin and I had big problems with my bottom end that damaged that piston..
My gut reaction was it was just a different piston someone put in there because that’s all they could get some where along the line. Thanks!

Can you post a pic of the three other pistons and what's the bore of all four pistons? 
3 WD45's with power steering,G,D15 fork lift,D19, W-Speed Patrol, "A" Gleaner with a 330 corn head,"66" combine,roto-baler, and lots of Snap Coupler implements to make them work for their keep.

Have not seen a knurled piston in forty years, used to know a gent with tooling to do that as well knurl guides, they don't do that anymore either.
