Picked up this Allis NOS pin at Lathrop.  Wondering if anyone can ID what it is for.  Part #339942 is painted on the pin.  Vendor did not know what it was for, but as I had one like it that Dad had, thought I'd get this one also and now have two.

Yeah, what do the abbreviations stand for?  It is a smaller diameter than a regular 3rd link hitch pin.  That is what I initially thought it might be.  Perhaps for the smaller tractors like the D10, D12 or D15?

RCC= row crop cultivator
RMDP= rear mounted drill planter
FMB might mean front mounted bedder
PLTR might mean planter
SCA and UTP not sure

Be interesting to see how the pin is used in all of those implements.  Was out this afternoon and checked how Dad had used the pin in the 3rd link of a snap coupler to 3 point adapter and there was a bushing used with it.  Thanks for all of the responses.  Dave

My pre snap coupler (1950) rear mounted cultivator tool bar for on the Wd has a pin like that goes though the holes in the rear hyd. arms to mount the tool bar. I have a picture of it but posting pictures on here is a problem for me, it would be nice to copy and paste  or drag and drop.

yeah, the rear mount coult pins are similar in appearance, but are smaller in size.  I also have those cult pins for my cultivator.
