Anyone know where I could find a decent grill -punched steel plate for an I-60? also curious about a replacement steering wheel and set of decals for tractor, loader, and backhoe. The cone shaped wheel is not the same as on my D-15 II. Is Minn-Parr a good place to start looking? How do you find parts on their website?

My Industrials both have decals from Lyle Wacker. You may want to try Marshall Machinery or Wengers of Myerstown on the grill, however this material is available from a steel supplier. The steering wheels are big $$$ but can be easily reconditioned with epoxy, epoxy primer and polyurethane enamel. Talk to Kevin at Illini as well.

Hey Guys, thanks for the replies. It looks like Mr Wacker has fallen off the face of the earth...at least I can't get a response. I've found a parts manual which will give me part #'s which everyone is asking for. It seems the Industrials are a bit harder to find parts for than any other AC's I've worked on in the past. Makes it more of a challenge!! Were the shuttle clutches a pretty good drag on the engine until they warm up? The engine wants to stall as soon as I release the clutch after starting unless above half throttle until it warms up a bit.

I had an I -60 and still have a H -3 with the shuttle. There is a drag on the engine until the oil warms up.

The new 2010 Steiner Tractor catalog has your steering wheel on page 38; #ACS308. replaces 242933 which is the I60-I600 original

Minnpar website is easy to look up parts using the original Allis Chalmers part number. I think I had to sign up with email as useid and set a password. |
