On the I40 did they come with a high and low and a reverser or just a high and low ,or just a reverser? I see one a long way from me. He said it has a reverser , but it jumps out of reverse , that would mean to me it is jumping out of any gear in reverse ? I did not no that the I40 came with a reverser.

It was available OR, as it used the same gear box area. Standard 4 speed with reverse; optional 4 speed with Reverser, or optional 4 speed with Hi-Lo and reverse, all needed the use of the foot clutch to change gears. The Hi-Lo and Reverser gear change lever is a detent ball arrangement.
