Wonder if I am missing something on this new forum. Is there a way to see the people that are posting on a topic without opening the topic? I miss scanning down the topics and seeing who the responders are like we could do on the old Forum. I know I can see the responders on the new Forum by clicking on the topic. A good share of the time I am more interested in the response an individual rather than the topic per se. I am finding that I won't click on most topics and am missing a lot of responses by by laziness because they hidden unless the topic is opened. Thanks.

The closed thread is the way i viewed the old form so this seems the way I have viewed for last few years.
You can look at the other side and see how many people have viewed something , see the last poster and the time they did their post. Something that wasn't on old form in collapsed form.
many features on here and I think I have only found half of them.

Wow, Dave. I'm sorry I brought up the subject. Since the new system has a lot of capability, I was hoping that someone might help. It obviously is not you.

Farrell, I, like Coke, viewed the closed threads on the old Forum, and liked that, so the change wasn't that great. One thing I would suggest you dabble with the 'search' function. It's way better than the old Forum and really pretty cool. If you can remember any key word that was in the original post, it will come up. The separate political pit has helped my blood pressure a bunch, also. It can be avoided completely if you so choose.
I'm pretty technologically challenged, and I'm finding my way around. Just play with it. There will be some things you don't like, but a lot of cool stuff you will like. You'll like the personal message feature to get ahold of others as well. It's change, to be sure, but overall change for the best.
GOOD LUCK!

I actually like the features of the new Forum also. I will keep learning and maybe there is a way to do what I want to do. It is nice to have a section for just AC tractors and machinery.

Amen to that, brother.... That one politcal party feels the need to attempt to inject their idiotic views into every aspect of a person's life... I, for one, am tired of it.
I avoid it ( the political section ) as much as possible, they have a seperate section here in this forum for the crap, and some of them still stick their stupid little zingers and garbage into the regular posts... makes me mad. Let a person alone somewhere.
I want to hear your junk , I'll look you up.

Farrell, I agree with you. Seems like I'm missing some old, familiar names too. I like the new forum but don't post as often as I used to. Not sure why. The new format is different but overall an improvement.
