For talking me into going to check out the D14. Long story but 6 hours after leaving home I unloaded her and went to work draining ALL OIL compartments, filter, antifreeze etc. I came within a 1/64th of an inch of not buying her. She’s like new mechanically BUT I thought she had original paint and she-doesn’t. More story to come later. G’nite and thank you all again for talking me into this!

Got these front wheel weights and also a pan seat with the complete assembly holding seat. However this tractor has 1620 hours since new (1957) and tack and all gauges work. The seat support assembly has NO WEAR. All bushings and shafts are like the day it rolled out the door! The motor and undercarriage does not drip a drop. Pretty unreal.   Looks to be newer radiator. But I have scrubbing to do big time. A lot of it. Thanks. Dana

Wonder how long  that big SMILE will be on your face !!!!

When you stop smiling, you should remove the rear weights and check the square mounting holes for fractures from the corners. I've had 2-3 centers with cracks there. I assume it's from loose bolts and weights moving around. I have 2 spare centers here, looking for a 'good farm'.

OK will do Jay. The old guy that sold this (and I’m pretty close to his age 😫) never farmed. The guy I bought it from had it for 5 years and never ran it much. But stories are worth a million. He said the old guy owned a Plymouth Van and small trailer and his hobby was going to tractor shows and tractor rides. Guy said he couldn’t believe the Van pulled that around as it’s quite a stout little guy. Anyways theres only one tiny dent on the whole machine on the backside of the right fender. Imagine finding a tractor 4 years younger than me that never farmed. And to think I really was not going to buy it because the paint was not original!   Looking back all I can think of is that song “what was I thinkin’”

Congratulations on a fine purchase! I think that you can take stock in the notion that no one on here would ever persuade you into buying something allis chalmers that you didn't need.
