I've a 415 Allis loader on my D15 with the front mount pump and put a quick attach on her and thought I could lift a pallet weighing about 2200 lbs, no go would take a little weight off the trailer but not enough to be able to get it off of the trailer, here are my cly dimensions lift cly bore-2.339, rod-1.515, stroke-31", tilt cly, bore-2.318, rod-1.50, stroke-20", the pump should be rated at 2000psi. What size cly would I've to go to to be able to lift up to 2500 lbs or is there anything else I could do to the old girl to make it work. TIA.

A 2.500" cylinder has 15% more power than a 2.300" cylinder. A 2.750" bore cylinder has 30% more power than a 2.300" bore. All are figured at 2,000 psi pressure.

I've got a TA 46 I'll sell you, put it on that 8030 and you'll have all kinds of lifting capacity!

Have a look at the Allis Model 615, the Industrial version of the D-15. Note the heavy duty Loader Boom, the stronger Industrial Front Axle, the bigger lift and tilt Cylinders. All things to consider if lifting a heavier load. Gary https://www.allis01.com/fossto/69-615/ac-69-615.html https://www.tractordata.com/backhoe-loader/000/0/9/94-allis-chalmers-615.html |

I'm sure there was someone on this site that found/bought new boom cylinders for a 400 or 500 loader that were a little larger in bore diameter ??

I don't believe the 400/500 loaders were designed to lift 2000 lbs.
Not that it can't do it on a larger tractor but on a D15... not safe.. I have an I600 industrial same as D15. But solid front axle and shuttle. Loaded tires and 1000 lbs on the 3 point. Solid and stable wit 10:00 x 16's on the front. It will lift 1500 lbs round bales but not something i do regularly. I believe your cylinders on your loader are rated to help keep you safe. IMHA |

To update the post I decided to buy a skidloader instead of end up abusing the old and breaking something like the kneels or worst. Thanks for all the reply's
