According to Norm Swinford's book AC Farm Equipment 1914-1985, he say's "The 200 was not tested but was rated on the 190XT diesel Test No. 887 with 93.64-PTO and 79.12 drawbar HP."
He said the 7040 is 136.49-PTO HP but he dosen't give drawbar hp. Tractor Data.com say, Drawbar (tested): 114.34 hp on the 7040. hope this helps. Edited by Josh Day - 14 Jan 2012 at 7:54am |

most stock 200's will dyno just over 100hp on pto. they were closer in performance to a 7000 than an early XT. Even later XT's should put out slightly more than the original 93 from neb tests.

Why would your 7040 have less hp than a 7010??? I think you have me and DrAllis both stumped.

You can also do a google for "Nebraska test Allis Chalmers 7040" (or what ever tractor) and get the test info.

Sounds to me like somebody's 7010 is turned up some or 7040 is in need of medical attention or both.
