261 cubes, 464carb 175 venturi, head opened slightly, Barney taylor cam,9-1 comp. What do you think that will make, the d19 262 was rated at 72hp. Do you think it will make that? Thanks,JM.

it should make that but it may need more carburator than the 464 to make it. you did not post the bore size ? I know of a 241 cubic inch motor with a higher comp ratio that makes that easily but it has a bigger carb also.

with a dished piston it will definately need more carb especially if the dish is deep.
