We've had between 9 and 10 inches of rain here in the past 8 or 9 days. 3 and 3/4 last night, rained all night. I just walked down to the crick, there is just under a foot of water running. Normally it would have been way out of its banks. We might get our rural water back this week. That's been out over a week. We got water thru the pipes but gotta boil the stuff. Old gals food processing plant is shut down till we get her back. Dad gum it she's a hollering wanting me to haul her to Squallmart.

still nothing measurable here since late 2017. a few sprinkles here, a tenth there, quarter inch every two weeks isn't going to cut it.  here at the quarry our wash ponds are so low we cant crush.   crushing crew went home early today.  been over 6 months since we had any runoff,  snow fall was pathetic over winter.  wheat harvest is starting in our area and it sounds dismal,  hope we can get something that will make a difference soon.

Not cussing you at this time of year. Sure glad it came when it did. On top of that we got another 1" last night and looking a little rainy right now. I got to head out about 7:00 and feed me bees. They'll tell me if its gonna rain tonight. If its gonna rain, I'll get stung a couple dozen times.
