Wow! That sled and operator got a heck of a ride!
I don't know why, but when the boost gets built, and that black smoke rolls my heart just about jumps out of my chest. Whoooooie! gotta love that adrenaline!

Very smooth running D21! If I heard the anouncer correctly, he said that it had 4 turbos? Did anyone else hear that? I see that Tuckahoe added concrete crowd barriers. Back in the late 80's it was just folks in lawn chairs next to the edge of the track & Howard Meridith's triple turbo 1066 thundering down the track. Now, I am missing the delicious crabcakes.... Oh humm....

Yep,Eric...I heard the announcer also say that it had 4 turbos. It's probably a good thing that the rider on the sled was in an enclosed booth,'cause I'm pretty sure his face would've been peeled back going down the track at Mach V or better! LOL! Rick
