I pull around here with my d19 in farm stock classes and almost all the guys I pull against have no three point assemblies or hydraulics etc left on their tractors. All I do with my d19 is pull anyways so if I can't beat them I'll join them. Was wondering how much hp would be freed up if I pulled the hydraulic pump out. I not really using any hydraulics but I'm sure there's a certain amount just to keep it running. Was gonna pull all that off and the lift cylinders and control valve etc off the tractor before my next pull. Looking for opinions and input.

I'm looking for anything I can get. A friend was telling me to change out final drive oil to lighter viscosity, run the oil level in transmission on the low end of dipstick, remoe power steering pump, generator, either removing fan blade or taking half the blades off, tightening up valve lash on intake valves a hair. I literally was the only AC pulling until a D21 pulled in the later hot farm classes. So for the hydraulic pump I suppose I should just pop the pan off and remove the entire pump and put the cover back on?

I pulled in 1st high and out of nowhere she ran out of juice and by the time I switched to low I lost everything and she spun.   I was wondering if I should just start and run the whole way in 1st low.

Remove fan blade and install electric fan .would be safer than altering the factory one.

Get yourself a carburetor from a C-2 Gleaner. Bolts right on and should be good for 8 HP or so.
