I saw your add in the market bulletin. When you start getting duplicates of the SC implements let me know. I will come over and help you sort, stack and catalog all the stuff you get leads on and buy.
I have a very nice 2 bottom plow that would be perfect for your CA.If you run across a nice 3 bottom I would be happy to trade with you for it. Or let me know if you find any parts plows that I could buy a bottom off of to make mine into a 3 bottom.
I hope you get a lot of calls but it seems like SC items are like hens teeth around here.Send me a PM if you would like to meet and check out each others collection sometime, Billy

LOL  Yeah, I got a place cleaned off behind my shop that I can store all the extra stuff I will end up with.  Do you know the Hartley man on US 178 that has a tractor junk yard----whoops, salvage yard?  When I bought a wheel from him last year he had a WD 45 and there was a 3 bottom SC plow sitting in the weeds that he got with it.

I sent you a PM

Look in the GA market bulletin. There is a SC 2 bottom for sale in GA. Listed as plow for D-14. I called, it is 2 bottom SC.

Thanks Dream, I'll take a look and give them a call.  I have a two bottom  SC plow that came from Paul Barnsley up in Maryland along with a SC hitch and cultivator set last year. It doesn't hurt to have another one if the price happens to be right.  He didn't mention if he has a SC subsoiler did he.   LOL

Hey Dream, what section of the Ga. market bulletin was the plow in?  I looked thru it but must have overlooked it.    Thanks,  Lance

Let me see if I can find it, i'll copy/paste it in. Don't suppose you have a 2 bottom trailer plow lying around you'd like to part with? I've been looking for one to pull behind the C.

Finally found it! Turns out it was in an older issue of the bulletin. I had gone to that instead of the newer edition . I called him to ask about it. He still has it. I did not ask a price.

Dream, sorry, I don't have a plow for your C.  I'll keep my eyes open.  As for the two bottom SC plow, Lakeland Ga. is about a 5 hour run from here one way.  I would be able to stop in Vidalia and buy a sack of onions though.  That way I'll bet my wife wouldn't think it was such a dumb idea.  LOL

LOL! Lance, you can always use the excuse that you're going to take her to this great shopping mall that you heard about, and then just happen to get "lost" and stop at this gentlemans' house to ask for directions. Then you could stop by for some onions on the way back as a consolation prize.LOL!

I have a two bottom If anyone wants, needs, cant live without. in Ohio or Lance if you could haul it back when you leave the race this fall. We could break it down and you could have it all in a couple years if you couldnt  handle it all in one trip. Fred

Fred, I could do it Johnny Cash Style, one piece at a time.  LOL   Or if I could convince Ron's and my wives to catch the bus back.   Nah, dumb idea.......
Thanks for the offer but I have a two bottom.    Now, if there just happened to be a subsoiler lying around out back, you know Tony's Dream race is coming up in a few weeks.

Kimbrell Farm Equipment had a 3 bottom sc slat plow the last time I went by there. He is between the SC/NC state line and the SC rest area off of I-85.
MurphNC posted a few days ago about a 2 bottom plow in his area like he sold Bill up in Mich. Pulled real good behind his B.
On 178 between Shoals Junction and Donalds was a Oliver ninety nine two bottom> Looked complete

On hwy eight going in to Pickens SC was another wheel type two bottom plow<jd or ih

All have been within the past year

Dream,

If you are going to pull a 2 bottom with a C, it better be a 2-12, unless you got some light ground, or your C has the tighter spring on it.

I got a single bottom C plow drawbar with brackets and a single beam plow with coulter that I don't need if you are interested.

Oliver, I came back by Kimbrell's place on the way home from the Hickory show.  He still had the 3 bottom plow and the CA tractor he had just brought in when I was by there last year but that was about it.
