My WD has been sitting awhile, it needs to be re-wired. I finally got it in the shop and started servicing it out. I pulled the drain plug and the oil was a gray color. I assume this is from condensation. So I drained the oil and now want to flush the motor out. 1- do I put oil in and run it and then drain the oil and put more fresh oil in. That is the idea I had. 2- would you put a new filter on with the first oil change and then another new one after you flush it out, or would you use the old one until you were ready for the second oil change?
I am going to flush the rear end and hydraulic system out with diesel. My next question is I need to know where to obtain the best wiring harness for my WD WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR DUMMIES! RIght now it is run off a 12V generator and I what to switch it to a 12V alternator. I dont know who wired it up last time but the voltage regulator is underneath the hood, not mounted on the generator like it should. Anyway any help would be great. Thanks Anthony |
