I have a 180 gas that we just had to replace the fuel pump on.  We also changed the spark plugs.   I went to use it for the first time yesterday to mow hay and she was not running right, she seemed to not have much power and you could hear the motor was having to work very hard just to keep her at 2000 RPM's.  The tractor also seemed to heat up very fast and backfired flames out the exhaust if you tried to run her to hard.   Any ideas of what it could be?  Thanks

You have two of the plug wires crossed. Pull one at a time while it's running and find the 2 that don't seem to make a difference when pulled. Switch them around and go to work.Don't mess with the timing or carb settings till you check this out since the only thing changed that would effect how it runs was the spark plugs.
