So … it’s a 1969 Hd6g , I had to put a alternator on to replace the generator and at the same time frame the starter went out . Fast forward acold long winter and now I have the wires very messed up . The diagram in the manual isn’t clear . The 24 volt generator is supposed to be a single wire but I’m unsure about the ammeter it has three slots for wiring. A dummy proof cartoon diagram is probably what I need . Any help is appreciated.
