Might try Blount Equipment in Hoboken,Ga.I have one on my machine, it makes all the difference in the world. If enough interest in them I could make some up. One would be expensive. HTH

They are used to bring the engine speed down to low idle. When working a dozer or track loader, mash the decelerator pedal, engine goes from working rpm's down to idle. Shift gears or change directions, let off pedal engine resumes at working rpm's. Saves wear and tear and frees up your hand for other her stuff. HTH Tracy |

So is it hooked to the fuel pump to temporarily move the lever to idle?

Basically it is hooked to throttle cable. When the hand throttle is set to a determined speed, a spring pulls the pedal back to this position, each time it is depressed and released. Very handy when working a machine and changing directions or creeping up on stuff. HTH Tracy

You could get an acellerator or decelerator pedal. I found out the decelerator is more user friendly.HTH Tracy |
