Short clips but this was back in 2012 when we were having a pretty severe drought. No lack of wetness in this spot though. The first video is just hooking up for our unsuccessful bid to pull it out using the hoe. Second video shows me almost getting the 7050 stuck. The second video is when the Cat hoe was used to reach over and pick up the front of the dozer while I pulled. The third is just picking up busted chains. Not great video and for some reason my loving wife never got any of the real action like the hoe picking up the front of the crawler or of me actually driving the 7050 out of what appeared to be a terrible parking parking spot for it. Dad really got the 11 stuck good trying to clean out dog wood. When I was a kid there hardly any of that stuff in this spot. I think it must hold water cause I don't remember it being quite so wet there either. That's what happens after 15 years without cattle in that area.

There now the videos work
This is the first time I've seen the videos. I thought they were longer and caught more of the action. Oh well. Edited by Lonn - 04 Apr 2014 at 5:58am |

Amazing how easy and how quickly one can stick a machine like these. Watched a guy high center a D8 with a cable scraper once, took four other machines to drag it off the perch without the belly pan attached, once down they are usually stuck tight.
