Here I am again, winter is coming on soon and my HB 212 is not ready to do the snow blowing.
I have had many ideas and forum help on how to fix a surging problem with my garden tractor but to no avail, save total disassembly and checking part by part, i.e. T66 Vickers pump. Bevel gear box, Transmission etc. While moving the tractor yesterday I discovered that if I turn hard to the left steering stop the surging goes away. It does not go away to the right stop however and of course straight ahead still surges in a periodic timing of about 3 to 5 seconds No leaks No belt probs No belt tension probs No carb probs No fluid level probs No pulley probs No air in system Filter in filter out no difference Positraction adjustment ok. One last time I'm asking for ideas before I decide to rebuild or restore the tractor. It's a great tractor, has 42" Blower, 42" mower, 4 ft.9" vacuum and hoses and a Trailer catcher 4'x6' for fall leaves |

sounds like a fuel line is getting pinched or a bad ground or ignition wiring or key getting grounded
