I have a 2005 Dodge 2500 5.7 Hemi quad cab with an 8 ft box. P J Goose neck 20 ft deck with 5 ft dove.  7000 lb axles. electric brakes both axles.

Pick up GVW 8800  trailer GVW 15300
pickup and trailer weigh 12400.

can I safely haul a 190XT diesel, wide front no front weights no fluid or weights on rear.

went to the Dodge .com site and confused myself. it said safe towing 15000 GTW including pick up and trailer. leaving only 2500 lbs payload.

15000 gross towing weight means that you can supposedly haul 15000lbs of cargo( that includes everything except the truck) The 190xt will weight about 7500lbs, you will not have any problems. Just make sure you have a good weighted tag to cover everything.

 I am kind of confused about your post . If you have 2 7000lb axles , your gvwr is 14000. If your trailer's gvwr is 14,000lbs you have around a 10,000lb payload. I have almost the same trailer and mine wieghs 4000. So take the 4000lbs for the weight of your trailer off the gvwr and that leaves you with your payload.  Your trucks rear gvw is about 6000 and your front is about 5200. Now as long as you can put the tractor on the trailer without exceeding your axle ratings, and you have the proper registration (this depends on the state) for hauling that much wieght you should be ok.

Common sense also comes into play here. Do you have confidence that your truck and trailer will be able to stop? Do you have a lot of big hills you will driving through? Your trailer is most likely 96" wide and that tractor's rear tires have to be close to that, so that means the axle on the 190 may be just as wide if not wider that the axles on your trailer which can cause some concern on the corners. (especially a corner at the bottom of a hill)
I use to do some hot shot driving in Louisiana, mississippi, and texas so I am pretty well versed on the rules set by wonderful D.O.T. Believe me or not theres a lot of BS that comes into play when you want to haul somthing that big on a pick-up even if your not doing it commercialy. It also varies from state to state. Oh yeah, Manufactures GCVWR is more for what the powertrain can handle.

I get so pissed when I see people (farmers and landscapers are the worst culprits) hualing equipment that is too heavy for there truck and trailer and get in a accident. Thats why commercial drivers get screwed with D.O.T checkpoints and rediculous cargo insurance premiums even when they are doing the right thing.
If what the gentlemen above said is true about it weighing 7500lbs you should be fine with your truck and trailer.

The weight will be closer to 9000 lbs than 7500.

chllngr528 data plate says gvw 15680.I am assuming it means tongue wt 1680 and 7000 on each axle. also on the Dodge site a 410 ratio axle can haul  1000lb more  than a 373 axle. thanks to the engineers to keep the confusion rolling.
 one of my pet peeves is the Truck drivers that make a living driving, has to fill out a swindle sheet (logbook) and drive or just be on duty  so many hours.  and anyone who can get behind the wheel of a pick up and 35 ft camper or a huge self propelled camper with no training and drive 24 hours a day 7 days a week. I have driven various trucks and semis over the years but was confused by the numbers. Thanks to all

LOL, I forgot about the snowbirds that trade in their buicks for a 3500 and a 40' travel trailer and then can't back them into their parking spot at the campsite. D.O.T has soooo many rules and crap it makes it hard to drive anywhere. For example, when driving through Maryland anything over 5 ton has to pull into the weigh station. I got pulled over while driving through one time for not pulling into the weigh station. My truck and trailer were both empty but weighed over 10,000. He let me go with out a ticket but meanwhile a loaded 30 somthing foot 5'ver drove by and I asked why they didn't have to pull in to the weigh station. The officer said that RVs were exempt. WTF?!

My 190XT diesel, 18.4-34's loaded, full set of front wts from a 200, and cab weighs 11,400
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.

My brother hauled a 200 (pulling in the 9500 to 12000 lb classes) for several years on a 1972 F600 ford single axle gasser.  Just needed a dock or bank to be able to back it on with.  Drove it all over southern Indiana to county fairs hills and all.
Also came and got my 1066 Ih and hauled it on the same truck.  125 miles one way. I didn't like the top heavy load but it never bothered him.
