Used to buy fram filters, now local store sells Hastings only. Anyone know what the number is for the hastings filters for the WD/45'S?

Be sure those bargain filters have the old cloth bag construction, not a modern pleated paper filter else you loose most all your WC and WD oil pressure. Fram has made a decent filter, but some NAPA filters have been bad for WD, like some Wix and AC filters.

I don't think $26 for two filters is such a great deal when I can stop at Farm and Fleet and get the Fram for about $7. Steve at B&B sell the Frams for a good price too.

Hey Ross, if you have an Advance Auto Supply around you, they still carry the Fram C159 at $7.69 each. Just picked up 6 yesterday. Autozone is about $0.23 more.

I ordered frams online from advance auto parts on their specials at 6.79. I got enough truck and tractor filters to last awhile, if you sign up for email, you get all their 10-30% sales. Our Tractor supply is twice as much. We own Fram and I can not get the company discount on them. At least some Frams are made in Ohio.

If you're lookin' for a good deal on Fram C159's, I still have my program running every year. As Charlie mentioned, $7 bucks each. Four or more for $6 each... Inventory shows approx. 56 C159's in stock on the shelf. Thanks Chas for the mention! If you want to save on the shipping, I'll be at Dale's show this year and always bring em'....
