Was wondering if it was possible, to take a set of 24" F & H spoke rims and make them into 38" tires? There was a set of 36" for sale recently that look very sharp, but 36" tires are not that easy to find. Was wondering if could take a set of spokes that I currently have and either extend the spokes or fab new spokes and weld them to a 38" blank. I'm sure anything can be done, but was wondering if anyone else was crazy enough to try it. The 24" rims that I got have 12 spokes, the 36" rims I saw have 20 spokes. Just wondering if 12 spokes spaced that far apart would look weird and wouldn't offer enough support.
Just trying to think of some ideas for my puller. Might not win anything, but at least would look cool in the process. Found a set of spokes for the front, and would like to put bigger tires on the back but stay with the spoke look on this unstyled.

F20 and 30's had a taller tire with a F&H spoked rim that will bolt right on. You might look around for a set. I don't recall the size.

Farmalls DID run 28's as Lonnie Stated. I think they are a bolt on from an F-20 as well, I havent been on one long enough to tell you for sure tho.

On NAPA's tractor calendar for March there is a F-12 on rubber and definately Farmall rims and are 38's or 36's look more like 38's. It says most F-12's were sold with steel though.

Maybe I'm not understanding things fully, but I would hate to see a nice set of 24" factory ROUND spoke wheels cut up to create something else. And, were you referring to used 36" tires? There's no problem finding new ones. Now paying for them, that's another story...
