Anybody have a pic of a hand clutch on a wd 45 bolted together??? Mine is slipping and was told to just "bolt it together". What all is involved and what do I need? The way they talk its rather simple. Thanks for the input.

I don't have a picture but it is rather simple just split the tractor between the rear end and the housing after draining the fluid in the housing and there will be a pto drive gear bolted to the clutch and just get another gear like what i bolted to the clutch and and grind the lip off of both and bolt them together and put the tractor back together

I am talking along the lines of from the top cover. Said I needed a right angle drill and just drill through the clutch itself and put bolts in it??? Just wondering if that's the case?

Or you could just use one of these and forget about bolts.

Where you get one of those splined shafts?.. IM gonna replace the clutch and all first of the year so I don't wanna split the tractor right now,just don't have time to before tunica.

if it was drilled and bolted int the right place could it be un bolted to go back to daily farm chores ? or would it ruin it ? my wd slips pulling on hard dirt but never seems to plowing or pulling impements   that spool looks like the best way for a dedicated puller

Well I went to a pull today and it was on solid red claythat was like super glue!!!! I slipped bad in 4500 as the tractor just stopped at about the 250' mark....Time to do something.

can't you just take some of the shims out an titen it up some would work a lot better

Take top cover off and drill a 1/4 hole through all the plates with a magnet under drill bit. Place  bolt and nut through hole and go pull.   MACK
