I got my CA back together and test drove it today. Everything is good except the hand clutch won't disengage. Just had Rick C rebuild it, so I know it's just an adjustment thing. Which way do I turn the clutch cog in the final drive to make the clutch disengage?

When your looking down in the hole the throwout bearing need to get closer to the clutch pack. The specified setting it .050" as long as it isn't turning the bearing it will be fine the extra clearance is just to allow for wear.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

Can't remember the direction of rotation; however, you can do this. Check the gap between the clutch and actuator; adjust the cog until you have 0.020-0.040" clearance. If you can't disengage then, the clutch may be froze to the pressure plate.

Thanks guys. Where am I supposed to measure this gap you're talking about?

That measurement would be between the throw out bearing face and the pressure plate assembly, where it makes contact. Rick

I see it now. Thanks. The distance is pretty wide. I'll tighten it up tomorrow.
