Guys, I bought 1 from harbor freight to put some insulation up on the 36X11 porch I am enclosing. It is a real piece of crap. It misses 3 out a 4 times. I am using their staples in it. I will try a name brand staple tomorrow afternoon. I can say, if it is the staple gun, it will be the 1st thing I am truly disappointed in from H.F.

If you buy a name brand warmer don’t just assume they use T-50 staples. I prefer the long skinny Stanley’s.

I bought an electric one for that. The cord is sort of a pain, but it sure beat a hand stapler!

I tried some USA made staples in it this afternoon. It works a whole lot better with them. Ya USA made, I had them left over from a job 20+ years ago. Been kicking them around in my big tool box that long. Must have a little Scots blood in me.

I am sorry, but I purchased an "AMERICAN MADE (PROUDLY UNION, LOL" ) ARROW brand slap stapler 2 years ago and suffered the same symptoms WITH "genuine" ARROW staples!! MADE IN USA means nothing in this day and age, JMO!!

I also bought an arrow stapler, it didn't work well, would thump a staple in about every 3rd time of pulling the trigger, then sometimes it would jam. they were staples with the arrow name on them too! PffffT! I then bought a stapler (dunno what brand) but it had the lever just opposite of all the others. so when pressing down or on what you would be stapling, the push would help hold on that spot, that was the best stapler, and now it can't be found here anywhere, and I haven't seen them sold anywhere since!
