Good photos. Thanks. Reminds me a previous issue of Iowa Outdoors had a series of shots where the heron was trying to get a Northern Pike swallowed. Quite a feat.

Nice pics ! A few years back I was fishing and saw what looked like a black snake walking on water . When I got closer I saw it was a bird like this with just his neck exposed walking on the bottom . Thanks for sharing
