Got two loads of gravel the other day and spread it this evening with the Allis Chalmers D-14 and snap coupler blade, just thought I would share some pics.

Hmm, liked those jobs when i was hauling limerock, put in pile. Thing is as I had to get it off the truck I would just as soon spread it as I dumped it. Took a few minutes longer but always felt I was doing a service along with selling a product.

I agree with Coke, I've seen guys take a very little bit of extra time and spread it out instead of dumping it in a pile, but then you wouldn't have had as much fun. Nice outfit tp play with too.

A couple of reasons why the driver did not spread out the gravel, first there isn't much overhead room with trees and wires. Secondly, I am building up that area specifically for a 30x40 pole building, third, I want to play with my D-14 as well!
