    Posted: 28 Aug 2020 at 10:40pm
Late last fall I was lucky enough to purchase my Grandpa's old 302 baler he bought new in 1966 from the guy who bought it on his farm sale back in 1981.  I spent last winter building up and replacing some worn parts, complete service, tore the pickup apart, replaced some teeth, straightened and painted the stripper bands, painted the rims and installed new tires.  I've had a few small baling jobs this past summer and out of 400 or so bales it has missed one tie...for as old and worn it is in some areas it still makes a pretty nice bale.
Hope the pictures work...just wanted to share...Thanks.

Nice outfit. Good job on getting the baler back in the family. I have tracked down a few pieces of machinery of my grandfathers this past 12 month. Its a great feeling to get something back you remember them using as a kid. Keep up the good work!

Looks good, both the baler and the tractor. I have a few implements like my grandfathers, series II D15,780 forage harvester and an Allis forage wagon. Tom

Nice combo. Really enjoy seeing pictures of AC equipment working. Just curious, do you have a Bale Baron to pick those up?

Looks like nice bale. Wire boxes rather than twine?

You have plenty of tractor on her.Looks very nice glad you got it
back.We ran a 303 D14 combo in the 70s and 1000 s of bales with no
problems.Just keep her greased daily.
