I put a Gleaner cloth seat (1980 or 81 vintage) on one of the tractors.  The molded urethane has gotten hard and it's like sitting on a block of wood.  Since the rest of the seat and the cloth cover are in good condition, I'd like to re-stuff it.

Can you still purchase the cushion?  The AGCO dealer didn't think so. It has a Grammer part number branded into the bottom of the urethane.

There's so much framework inside the cushion I don't know how easy it would be to make one from scratch that feels comfortable.  However, if I do go that route, where could I buy a small quantity of memory foam?

Russ - go buy a memory foam pillow at your favorite big box store and cut to size - should be a perfect amount.  Mike
