Funny I didn't notice the disks were all missing when I glanced at it in the weeds...oh well, just one less thing to take apart. Rest of it looks pretty good, will need some elbow grease to free it up. Sheetmetal is nice, has the fertilizer agitaters in there that will fit my little 9 holer...just need to figure out how to get the spring pins out!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The tongue looks an aweful lot like the arms to the Oxnard Subsoiler/Ditcher that I have.....just need the eye bracket.

Great find, Eldon. I kind of have a hankerin for one of them drills to play with, but I already have more projects than time. Do you use the little drill to seed anything? Darrel

Eldon, if you are parting it out, I would be interested in the little lever on the end of the grass seeder box. Its cast iron. Mine is broke right at the end. Thanks!

I used to seed some small fields with the 9 x 7 untill I busted up the metering cups last year when the hydraulics on the D14 failed and I had a bag of wheat in the hopper....found out those little fingers in there will grab the fibers of a plastic bag and wrap them around till things explode....hopefully I can swap parts and make it useful again.

Eldon, I never saw a 9 hole with wheels on it. Were they a farmer addition. Bob

My dad also reminded me, I might be needing a few good grass seeder attachment metering cups. After you get yours going, and if you are interested in selling some of those, let me know! thanks again! Don |

Josh I took another look at the drill....it looks like the whole drill has to come apart to get that gizmo off....could be awhile. For you and Don, it is going to be a challenge to remove these parts without breaking them due to rust....so it might turn into next winters project if you can wait.

Josh I got the parts off today. Here are some pics showing the area that is broke.
The threads are good and I turned it off the screw by hand.
