Fixed up the Side Door Safety Latch and replaced it on the trailer. Old one was what appeared to be a 'Will Do' and no longer did. Used aluminum, not my best media for welds but trying. Also added same style Bullet hinges to some aftermarket ramps for our bike, worked better than expected but still working up a safety latch/catch for it to the positioning bar.
New latch is popular among Horse trailers, but has been discontinued where had to construct this one. Old One: Ramps: A tad narrower than wanted but works, used a 5/8" Round Cold Rolled bar welded between two 1.25x .125 Angle iron welding brackets. Supported bike with myself on it rather nicely. Bullet Hinges do slide apart to separate the ramps if need wider spread as with a SxS on a different load out. Thinking some type of Slide pin to catch Under the lip retainer bar on the trailer rear from the ramps themselves.
