I suppose most of you watch YTmag but just saw this for sale.  If thats a real model C wide front they are worth a few bucks are they not?  Maybe somebody should let him know how to prime the oil pump? Looks like he spent a load of money and gave up?

Is it me or is the oil filter smashed on top? If it's like the wd's when the tip that goes inside the filter is plugged or bottoming out it will affect the pressure reading at least thats what I was told. I wonder if thats the oil pressure problem?

I just got back from looking at this AC. The man wouldn't sell it to me due to the fact that he told another buyer (who was driving 3+ hours) he could have it if he showed up tonight. What sucks for me is this tractor is only 15mins from my house! I was standing there telling the seller I will give you another $100 on top of your asking price if he would sell it to me, but he was a man of his word (which I respected).
To the buyer I say you got a good deal, I wish you the best with this model C WF.
Oh well, just another story to add to my AC hobby.

Hey - that is a good guy - you would not want to be the guy driving 3 hours to have it gone.

I'm with Texas B -- after all the stories on here saying how people felt about some sellers --- this guy sounds like a "straight arrow" -- gotta respect that. If the other guy doesn't take it, sounds like you would be first in line.

No doubt I am number 1 on the waiting list but I don't see any reason why the buyer would not close the deal after driving so far (nearly 7hrs round trip).
Your right, it nice to meet an honest person. The seller (Gary) is very well knowledged with tractors and had several other tractors that he gladly showed me and shared his restoration stories. Like I said earlier I hate that I missed this one but now I have another good local tractor contact to call on when needed.

Crap! I never find anything like this until one of you guys puts it on here, and then it's sold. Noticed it still has the rad shutters too. Nice looking job. If he didn't run it too long with no oil pressure, it would probably be alright.
I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!
