I have a Black Gleaner 8 row corn head (its not a hugger), serial # is 083012842R8988, can someone tell me what model I should look under in the AGCO parts book,it has telecopic pto shafts with U-joints if that helps, Thanks Dave

Looks like a 1988 or 89 model. Look up N-830 or R-830 for the model. Fits a rotary combine, correct ??

Yes it does Doc, I looked it up under ( N/R series adjustable row corn head EFF S/N 2001) but can't find the pto shafts this head uses so thought I was looking in the wrong book.

Those shafts were added on by someone....not factory.

By that serial you have an early hugger.  First hugger started in 1988 and yours is a 1989 by serial
