I got a very nice mowing deck with my 314 and I really don't need it. I know a lot about garden tractors and all but don't really know what these decks are worth? Can't find to many to compare either. Any help would be appreciated!!

They are hard to find if you're looking for one. It took me about 9 years to come across a decent deck for my 416H (without having one shipped)  Most of them rusted out badly. The problem with selling one is there aren't many 300/400 tractors being mowed with so there is still a limited market for the decks. One other thing to note is the 48" deck housing is nearly the same as the deck used on MF14 and MF16 tractors and you might be able to sell it to a massey guy too. Are the bearings good and all idlers quiet?  Now for pricing: Needing some work but not rusted out- $100-$150. Ready to mount and run $150-$300.  Just my guess.

Ok thanks a lot! As far as rust it has none it just has been painted diff colors before and needs paint but I might do that just so it looks better. I haven't checked the bearings and everything cuz just got tractor and it's not mounted. I was guessing I would sell it for maybe $175 or so but that was a guess.

I think $175 sounds OK. One of the dealers in my area gets up to $300 for a good 48" Sovereign deck, but then there are a lot more of those tractors still running around mowing grass.
