Hi,
Im looking for a source to replace my missing seat and armrest cushions on my HD5 dozer. Any suggestions. Ive looked around some on the internet. Dont look like anyone is making exact replacements for it anywhere. I had some good luck finding new seat and back for my International 300 utility tractor last year. Are Allis dozer seats harder to find? It is looking that way.

About like hens teeth .
I made my own the first time around - built a plywood box , then covered it with vinyl cover on top of 4" of foam , same for arm rests box, foam and vinyl.
Next i used a bucket seat from Chev Blazer for quite a few years as I found that 4" rise fit me I kept the height by building a mount to keep height above the under seat tool storage area.
Now have a after market suspension seat - found I seldom used the arm rests above battery boxes so just have steel plate covering them now.

Just went thru this on my HD7G, went to a local upholsterer with a photo of the parts manual and the original style seat bottom, we built up from a plywood base to a full 7 1/2' thick multi stage stiffness cushion and wrapped it in exterior grade vinyl. Cost me almost $200 but fit like original and sits fine while working.

There is cheap but functional,or first class but kind of pricey.Cheap is get plywood for bases, foam from old couches or old mattress, cover with vinyl fold corner like raping a package and staple to plywood.First class sewed seams like in the day John Hahn tractor seats from Craigmont ID.

I need to do this also. I have been using a old boat cushion for to long. But hey it matches the boat cushion on the seat of my TL 20 and on my MM Z tractor.

I found cheapest seat fix was to cut out a couple of pieces of 5 ply and two for battery covers then get local upholster guy to cover with foam and some canvass. Worked really well and easy to remove when cleaning machine.
